mRNA Sequencing
Relying on advanced sequencing systems and cutting-edge technologies, Creative Proteomics provides global customers with mRNA sequencing and analysis services, aiming to help you accurately analyze gene expression differences, discover new transcripts, genetic structural variations, gene fusions, RNA editing and other life sciences important question.
Overview
Although mRNA only accounts for about 3% of the total cellular RNA, it has always been the focus of research because it is ultimately translated into protein and participates in a series of biological processes such as the growth, development, and disease occurrence and development of organisms.
mRNA sequencing (mRNA-seq) is the use of high-throughput sequencing technology to sequence the entire mRNA of a specific cell in a functional state. It can comprehensively and rapidly obtain changes in gene expression profiles, and at the same time, it can also accurately analyze the sequence and structural variations of transcripts such as cSNP and alternative splicing through sequence information; in addition, it has unique advantages for detecting low-abundance transcripts and discovering new transcripts.
Advantages of mRNA sequencing and analysis:
- High Accuracy: Digitize the signal and directly determine the sequence of each transcript fragment.
- High resolution: Single-base differences caused by similar genes and alternative splicing in gene families can be detected.
- Wide detection thresholds: Detection thresholds spanning 6 orders of magnitude enable simultaneous identification and quantification of normal and rare transcripts.
- Large amount of information: In addition to the expression amount, it can also provide information such as transcript boundary identification, RNA editing, alternative splicing, and gene fusion.
Advantages of Our mRNA Sequencing and Analysis Services
- The experimental period is short, the efficiency is high, the cost is low, and the quality is reliable.
- Strong processing ability for special samples: There are targeted processing methods for degraded samples, trace samples, etc.
- One-stop service: Customers only need to provide cells, tissues, body fluids or total RNA, and Creative Proteomics will complete the whole service process from sample preparation, library preparation, sequencing to bioinformatics analysis for you.
- Professional bioinformatics analysis: Creative Proteomics has a strong bioinformatics team, which can meet various in-depth data analysis needs of customers, and can also provide integrated analysis services with other omics.
Service Workflow
For mRNA sequencing of experimental samples, we followed the basic workflow shown below. At the same time, Creative Proteomics has developed a variety of novel sample preparation techniques, and we will adjust the experimental methods and optimize the experimental conditions according to the different properties of the samples.
Sample Requirements
- Cells: ≥ 2×106
- Tissue: ≥ 50 mg
- Body fluids: ≥ 2-3 mL (whole blood, serum, plasma)
- Urine: ≥ 50 mL
- Cerebrospinal fluid: ≥ 5 mL
- Total RNA: ≥ 2 μg (OD260/280 ≥ 1.8; OD260/230 ≥ 1.5; no obvious degradation)
- Sample transportation and storage: The sample is placed in a 1.5mL tube, sealed with parafilm, and shipped on dry ice.
